Novels Galore

Well, I’m a little late, but that’s better than never, as they say. I’m pleased to announce that over the past few months, I have been able to publish two of my older novels!

They are now featured on the updated Stories tab.

The Farm Story was the first novel I ever wrote, and it’s the one that really got me into writing. I started when I was 12 and worked on it for exactly one year, and in that time, my style improved by a lot. I had a group of readers who commented and kept me going, and it’s thanks to them I was actually able to get to ‘the end’. The Farm Story is a murder mystery comedy written by a kid, for kids. (I know I said The Power Within was my first novel, but that’s because I didn’t consider TFS a real novel until I reread it last year. TPW, however, is my first serious novel that I’m hoping to publish large-scale.)

Lake Lelillo is The Farm Story’s sequel. This one took a lot longer to finish–almost three years–and I learned a lot about true mystery writing. It’s a lot less comical than The Farm Story.

Both of these stories were written just for fun and are by no means serious novels. I self-published them on Blurb as a learning opportunity and so I could have physical copies of some of my favorite works. That being said, they are unedited, but should you purchase copies of your own, I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing them. 🙂
